It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Evelyn Marie Krutko, who passed away at home, in the comfort of her best friend’s arms, on Tuesday, June 30th, 2020, at the age of 67.
Evelyn was born in Toronto on August 7th, 1952; in 1968 she moved to Newmarket to attend Huron Heights Secondary School where she met her life-partner, Bruce Krutko. Evelyn and Bruce married on December 28th, 1974 and welcomed their only child, Michelle, in the Fall of 1982. Evelyn’s life has been filled with many accomplishments, but her greatest legacy is her daughter, Michelle.
Evelyn spent the earlier part of her professional career in Accounting and later branched out to provide personal support for seniors in the community, where she found great joy and fulfillment.
Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Michelle, and her life-partner and best friend, Bruce Krutko. She was predeceased by her sister, Barb, her brother-in-law, Peter, and nephew, Rob Friary. Evelyn will also be honoured by her nephew, Dave (Sandy), her sister, Claudette, her brother, Roy (Michaela) and fondly remembered by her great-nephew, Connor, her nephews, Michael, Justin, Joel, and her nieces, Rachelle, Nicole and Jessica. Evelyn’s memory will be held deep in the hearts of her countless friends, whom she loved like family.
Evelyn’s love for life was written in her smile; to know her, was to love her.
