Peacefully passed away with her son Ian, daughter Jan and niece Peggi by her side, at her beloved home in Barrie, on February 8, 2018 at the age of 99. Beloved wife of the late Victor Knox. Dear mother of Jan Goodall and Ian Knox. Mother-in-law of Leigh Hilton and Claudia Suhanic. Proud and loving Granny of Matthew and Mia. Always loved and fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews in particular Peter and Dennis Cook, sister-in-law Judy Smith and brother-in-law Russell Smith. Guests will be received at Collier St. United Church, 112 Collier St. Barrie on Saturday February 17, 2018 from 2 pm until the time we celebrate her life at 2:30 pm. The family would like to take this opportunity to gratefully acknowledge the help and support of the many personal support workers who enhanced Jean’s life, in particular Lorraine Legge, who along with family was with Jean until the end. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the March of Dimes, Canada and are gratefully appreciated.
