(August 4, 1928 – June 19, 2018) - Passed away peacefully at Hospice Simcoe on Tuesday, June 19, 2018, in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Nelson King (2010). Dear mother of Linda (Ken), Sundai (Ralph), Ron (Karen) and Laura (Jose).
Dear grandmother of 11 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Ernest and Laura Grimley. Loving sister to Dorothy, Elaine and Muriel (predeceased). Ruth was a much loved relative to her many cousins, nieces and nephews and a great friend to all. She will be remembered for her love of bingo, the casino and playing cards. Her energy and presence will be extremely missed by all those whose lives she touched.
Our heartfelt gratitude to the wonderful caring staff at Royal Victoria Hospital and at Hospice Simcoe. A celebration of life gathering will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 147 on Ferris Lane in Barrie on Wednesday, August 4, 2018 from 1:00pm - 4:00pm.
