On December 3, 2021, Georgette King, daughter of Edmond and Alma Roi
passed away. In her 86 years of living, her accomplishments and achievements
had been many beginning with her children:
Allen, Janet, Jimmy, Jeannie, Joannie, Mary-Anne, John and Jack.
She also has 15 grand children and 5 great grand children.
In the early days, she worked extremely hard, teaching herself to speak
English, helping to build The Bon-Air Motel and her own sewing business
while she raised her very large family.
Later on, she became a member of the Catholic Woman’s League and helped
out in the church.
The Native ways of living became her life style. She was always in the bush
picking the fruit supplied by Mother Nature.
She held many certifications in alternative methods of healing which brought
forth her gift as a natural healer. She had an abundance of people that came
to her for help with their health. Touching the hearts of every human she
possible could was her goal in life.
In Mom’s final walk she became an environmentalist, a Land Steward to
Mother Earth setting an example for all those around her.
Thank-YOU Mom, until we meet again!
With Love your children.
