Passed peacefully at Roberta Place in Barrie on Friday, January 19th, 2018 at the age of 91. Loving wife of the late Gordon Kennedy. Predeceased by her parents Clarence and Beatrice Paddon and by her sister Maureen MacLintock (Jim). Beloved mother of Christine Boyd (David), Neil (Kathrine) and Hugh (Erica). Will be sadly missed by her 5 granddaughters, her great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many lifelong friends. Friends and family are invited to help celebrate Barbara’s life at 2 pm on Saturday, January 27th, 2018 at Roberta Place 4th floor, 489 Essa Rd., Barrie with arrangements entrusted to the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie. Following the service, guests are invited to remain to share memories over tea. If desired, donations to the Humane Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation or Barrie Learning Centre would be greatly appreciated by the family.
