KELL, William 'Bill' John

Peacefully passed with family by his side at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre on Tuesday, July 16th, 2019 at the age of 95. Devoted son of John and Hazel Kell (nee Archer). Beloved husband of the late Jean (nee Gilroy), Isobel Church and companion of the late Margaret Blakely. Beloved father of John (Susan), Larry (Anne), Elizabeth (Bill), Roger (Beverly), Marilyn (Manny) and father-in-law of Donna (the late Douglas). Proud Grandfather of 19 and great Grandfather of 27. Dear brother of Keith (Helen). Dear brother-in-law of Blake Constable (Susan). Predeceased by sister Grace and brother-in-law Lou Moriarty and sister Shirley Constable. Fondly remembered by the Church and the Blakely families and all of his extended family and friends. Sadly missed by the residents and staff at the Roberta Place Retirement Lodge. Visitation will take place at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Friday, July 19th, 2019 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and on Saturday, July 20th, 2019 from 12 p.m. until the time of service in the Chapel at 1 p.m. Reception to follow inside the Lower Lounge. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bill’s memory may be made to the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, to the Gilford United Church or to a charity of choice and are greatly appreciated by the family.
