Passed away peacefully on Wednesday March 24, 2021 at the age of 97 in Toronto. The beloved wife of the late (Jurgis) George (2004), loving mother of George and his wife Judy, grandsons Eric and Mark; Lillian Thompson and her husband James and grandsons Jimmy, Alex and Andrew; niece Irene Nowakowski and husband Andrew and son Julian (Kaitlyn). Tamara was a kind and loving person whose positive attitude towards life was contagious to everyone around her.
She preached about being with the ones you love and to do things that will make your life happy and full. A heartfelt thank you to the staff at the Chartwell Westbury Long Term Care Residence in Toronto for their kindness, compassion and care.
A family celebration of life will be held at a future date, when it’s safe to gather again. Cremation entrusted to Marshall W. Driver Cremation & Burial Service, 19 Ross St., Barrie.
