Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Hospice Simcoe on Thursday June 16, 2016 following a courageous battle with Mesothelioma. Al Kane at the age of 72 cherished husband of Joy. Al was the proud father of his dear children Kevin (Noriko) Kane, Lori (Keven) Lupien and the late Sherry Kane-Nicholls. Adored grandfather of Kaiden, Rukaiya, Kameron, Adalyn, Wyatt, Cerys and Adriana. Al is also survived by his brother John (Frances) Kane. Friends will be received at ADAMS FUNERAL HOME, 445 St. Vincent St. Barrie (just north of Cundles Rd.) on Thursday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at 3 o’clock Friday June 24th, 2016 with visitation from 2 p.m. Funeral Services entrusted to St. Mary’s Parish.
