Barb passed away peacefully Sunday, March 26, 2023 surrounded by her family in her 90th year. She was the wife of the late Kerv Johnston (Barrie Honda) and the sister of the late Margaret Lepard. She is survived by her four sons, Greg and Hiromi, Kevin and Kathy, Michael and Donni, and Terry. She was the adored Nana to Jennifer and Matt, Tyler, Nicole, Kristina and Max, Matt and Meg, Patrick, Eric and Mitchell. Proud great grandma to Everett and Levis.
Barb had a great love of politics, travel, boating and cottage life. There is an empty bridge chair with her name on it.
The Johnston family would like to thank all of Barb’s health care team for their kindness. Special mention to Dr. Monnin, Dr. Deboer, Robyn Barrett and Heather Porter.
Donations may be made through Adams Funeral Home to the charities of your choice. As per her request there will be no funeral and a spring interment.
