It is with profound sadness to announce the sudden passing of Luke Earl Rene Jean, on April 19th, 2022, at the young age of 35. Luke is survived by his loving wife, Kathleen (Katie) Renton, and beautiful daughter Lucie. Much loved younger brother of Laurie-Dawn Keillor, and Leslie Cranston (Lee). Dearly missed by parents Lawrence Jean, and Wanda Jean (Juneau). Extremely proud uncle to Saleen (Taylor), Kohl, Etnie, Brodie and Delphine.
Luke will be affectionately remembered by father-in-law David Renton, mother-in-law Leslie Renton, sister-in-law Nicole Stow (Justin), and lifelong best friend Joseph Neal (Rebecca, Mylo), along with extended family and friends who meant so much throughout his life.
Luke was particularly proud of his specialized I.R.A.T.A. Level III certification for rope access welding, where he made many friends and had a meaningful career. Luke was known to be hardworking and always the funny guy to all that knew him well. Luke cared deeply about the people in his life and would always lend a helping hand when needed. He was a lover of all animals, especially his fur baby chihuahua Kiwi. We will fondly remember our numerous vacations, movie nights and hockey games with him, as well as his infamous barbecues in which he took so much pride in. Luke paid attention to detail in the many things he took part in over the years, and was always the family protector, which we will forever cherish. Luke, we will always love you and miss you.
A celebration of Luke’s life will take place at a later date.
