Passed away peacefully at Woods Park Care Center in Barrie on August 30, 2017 in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late John Janowski. Dear mother of Barbara Janowski, Jane Davie (Ian), and Cathy Charity (Ralph). Predeceased by son Gerald John Janowski. Proud gramma of Erin, Ashley, Lindsay, Nadia, and great gramma of Eleanor. Fondly remembered by other dear family members. Jenny was an active member of the CNIB, Barrie Polish hall, and the C.W.L. for many years. Guests will be received at Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Wednesday September 6, from 4 to 8 pm. A funeral mass will take place the next day, Thursday September 7, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 65 Amelia St., Barrie starting at 10 am. A reception will follow in the parish hall. Following the reception, burial will take place at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Barrie. In lieu of flowers donations in Jenny’s memory may be made to the CNIB or charity of your choice and are greatly appreciated.
