Passed peacefully on Monday, September 5th, 2016 at the age of 67. Beloved wife of the late Allan Hooper. Cherished mother of Sheri Hogg (David), Doug Hooper (Kim) and Lee Hooper (Erin). Loving grandmother of Katelyn and Ian. Dear sister of Tom Stephenson (Joanne), the late Jean Lovell (Bill) and Jim Stephenson (Lucille). Visitation will be held at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 201 Minet’s Point Rd., Barrie, on Saturday, September 10th from 10 am until the time we celebrate Susan’s life in the chapel at 11 am. Following the service, guests are invited to remain for a reception luncheon in the lounge before proceeding to St. James Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Harmonize for Speech or a charity of choice. The family would like to take this opportunity to extend their heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff and volunteers at Hospice Simcoe for the extraordinary care they provided to Susan over the past 8 weeks.
