Leslie Hale went home to Heaven to be with Jesus on February 14, 2021, at the age of 79.

She was born on February 8, 1942, in Weston, Ontario.

She married her sweetheart and the love of her life, Neil Hale, and they were married for 59 years.

She was the dear and beloved daughter of Howard and Doris Dean.

She was a compassionate, supportive and loving Mum to Chris (Rhonda) Hale, Marcy Lynn Hale (passed into heaven 2001), Michael (Deirdre) Hale.

She was a treasured sister to Jeff (Barb) Dean, Debbie (Ken) Quibell, Greg Dean (Deceased - 2004), Steve (Dora) Dean.

She was a loving Grandmother who was cherished by her grandchildren: Joshua Hale, Ansley Hale, Matthew Hale, and Timothy Hale.

She loved singing in the church choir, and ringing the bells at Christmastime for the Salvation Army to raise donations for the homeless.

Thanksgiving gatherings were a favourite of hers. She loved helping others, and this was reflected in her career as a Registered Nurse in Georgetown, Ontario.

She had a passion for honouring God in all that she did, and was known for always saying “God is good. All the time.” No matter what happened in her life, her anchor was in Jesus and she honoured Him in the way she lived.

1 Peter 1:8

“Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy.”

In remembrance to the family, please make donations to the Salvation Army of Barrie, Ontario.
