It is with sadness that we announce the passing of John in the early hours of Saturday, October 24
th, 2020 at the age of 83. Loving husband to Earline (nee Doe). Cherished father to John Earl Graszat (the late Katie)(Tina-Marie) and James Gregory Graszat (Joanne McPhail). Proud grandfather to Devin (Emily), Mitchell, Sophie, Corbin and Taegan. John will be lovingly missed by sister-in-law Yvonne Switzer (Bob), brother-in-law Roger Doe (Patricia), his childhood friend Wayne Cruickshanks, his family from the Hamilton area, nieces, nephews, and friends from Windsor, Barrie, Kingston, and Fort Myers, Florida. John served in the Royal Canadian Air Force for 32 years and was Commandant of the Commissionaires of South Western Ontario. He enjoyed playing golf, shuffleboard, darts, solving crosswords, poker, basketball, and was a talented banjo player with the Windsor Banjos. Arrangements entrusted to Victoria Greenlawn Funeral Home (1525 Hwy #3, Oldcastle, 519-969-3939). Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
