It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Simon John Gooder at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie on Friday, June 4, 2021 at the age of 65. Simon fought a long and hard battle with Diabetes and other health issues throughout his life. He was a smart man who experienced several jobs during his life. Simon enjoyed time at his family cottage, horse racing, mathematics statistics, socializing and conversing with anyone. Simon is predeceased by his parents John Gooder and Alberta Smith. Loved brother of Jennifer Martin. Uncle to Emily and Veronica, cousin of Barry, Ian, Jackie, Mark (Kathy), James and Brian (Terry). Simon will be forever missed by Ben and the gang from the house. There will be no public visitation or funeral service. Memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated. Condolences may be forwarded to the family by visiting
