Suddenly, while on vacation with his family in Florida on December 22, 2016, at the age of 48. Loving husband of Carlayne for 19 years. Will be sadly missed by his children Alyssa, Hunter, Hayden and Ella. Cherished son of John (predeceased) and Wietske, and survived by his brother Mac. Visitation will take place at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 201 Minet’s Point Rd., Barrie on Saturday January 7, 2017 from 1 pm until the time of service in the chapel at 3 pm. Following the service, guests are invited back to Dan and Michelle’s house for a reception and time of fellowship. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
