Gibbons, Catherine Mary – (Katie) – Passing peacefully in her sleep at her residence at Grove Park Home on Thursday the 15th of February in her 89th year. Daughter of the late George and Patricia Cooper. Beloved wife of Patrick James Gibbons- predeceased. Dear mother of Leonard (Gail), Rosemarie Schenk (Jim), Mary Bartels (Scott), Carol Nolte, Daniel, Jeffery and Matthew. Ever remembered by her siblings Rosemarie Macdonell, Agnes Berard, John Cooper, Sharon Craggs and Claire (Cameron )Campbell, grandchildren, Nicholas(Michelle) and Jennifer (Steve) Gibbons, Joshua and Jake Schenk (Catherine Lang), Jennifer (Graeme) Taylor, Sarah (Brett), Jonathon, David, Myja (Collin) and Michael (Michael) Hogendoorn, Dallas, Quinn and Chase Nolte, Laurie Gibbons, Ben and Amy Gibbons and great grandchild Ernest Hogendoorn. Predeceased siblings Mary Woodrow, Joseph, George and James Cooper.
Arrangements entrusted to Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 705-721-9921, 30 Worsley Street, Barrie, ON L4M 1L4. A private family service will be held in the future.
