GALLAUGHER, Doug

On July 21st, 2022 peacefully, full of and surrounded by love, our Dad left this world to be reunited with our Mom and the love of his life, Sue.

Beloved Dad to daughters Shannon (Dave) and Kelly (Rob); Grampy to Jodey and Taryn. Doug will be greatly missed by his sister, brothers in law and best friends Heather and Dave Harrison and Art Johnstone as well as many neighbours, family and friends. Predeceased by his wife of 43 years Sue, his parents Garnet and Vera Gallaugher and his sister Dorothy Johnstone. Cremation has taken place.

A time to visit and reminisce will take place at St. George’s Anglican Church, 9 Grenville Street Barrie on Saturday August 20th from 10am until the time we celebrate Doug’s life at 11am. Reception to follow.

Special thanks to our friends at the Barrington, Dr Jacky Lai, all of the staff, volunteers  and loving dogs at Hospice Simcoe and all those who loved Dad and held him in their hearts!

In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Simcoe would be greatly appreciated by the family.
