Passed away peacefully at Spencer House in Orillia, on Saturday, July 21st, 2018 in her 100thyear. Beloved wife of the late Gordon Freethy. Dear Mother of Joan (late Bob) Nichols of Orillia, Faye (Peter) Smith of Orillia, and predeceased by daughter Shirley (late Russell) McMaster. Loving grandmother of Lisa, Christina, Rick, Wanda, Matthew and Vanessa. Will be greatly missed by her 11 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren. Zella is predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Effie Walton, Arnold Bowser, Beulah Dunn, Alvin, Mildred, Lyda, Polly and Audrey. Cremation has taken place. Friends may call at the Jennett Funeral & Cremation Centre, 152 Bradford Street in Barrie, on Sunday, July 29, 2018 from 12 p.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
