Eleanor Grace Forsyth (Macdonald) passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday January 18th, 2023 at the age of 91. She was predeceased by her loving husband Robert; sisters Betty Keats and Helen (Bud Wake) along with brother Hugh (Evelyn Macdonald) and brother in law (Richard Hogan) She is survived by her sister Marion and all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a loving mother of JoAnne and her husband Mark Maheu, Diane and her husband Garth Greenough, and John and his wife Gail Clement. She was the sweet Grandma of Colin, Michelle, Natalie, Lucas, Benjamen, Jasper, Alice, and Molly. She was the doting “Gigi” of great grandchildren Hayden, James and Oscar. Eleanor will be greatly missed by her friends and family.
A memorial reception will be held at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Saturday, January 28th, 2023 from 12pm-2pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Busby Centre or Youth Haven would be greatly appreciated by the family.
