With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Donald Herbert James Fisher, 73, of Barrie, on January 21, 2023. Don slipped away peacefully while surrounded by family and loved ones.
Don will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Dianne (Cooper) of 52 years. Loving father of Steve (Kim) and Nancy (Chris). Loving Grandpa to Connor, Lauren, Devin, Kiya and Alex. Don will be sadly missed by his sisters, Linda (pre-deceased by Wayne), Jean (Steve) and Jill (Rick), his brother-in-law Paul (Janet) Cooper, Cathy (pre-deceased by Gary) Cooper and the late Randy Cooper. Pre-deceased by his parents Doug and Edna Fisher.
A Visitation will be held at Adam’s Funeral home (445 St. Vincent Street, Barrie, ON) on Thursday, February 2, 2023 from 11am to 12pm followed by a Memorial Service and reception.
We would like to thank the staff at RVH for all the wonderful care they provided.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Youth Haven in Barrie or a charity of your choice.
