FARAGHER, Margaret Rose "Maggie"

Passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Sunday, January 31st, 2016 at the age of 77. Predeceased by her loving husband Glen (1998) as well as by her beloved son Barrie Brent (1967) and by her parents Cecil and Eleanor Cameron. Loving mother of Heather Amisson (Kevin), Don Faragher (Brenda) and Sherry Faragher. Loving Gramma and Marmar of 12 and great grandmother of 13. Maggie was a beloved sister of Ivan Cameron (Patricia), Betty La Plante (Peter) and the late Ross Cameron (Gloria). Maggie will be forever remembered for her grace, strength, courage and her love of reading. Her family would like to extend their gratitude to the loving and compassionate doctors and nurses of the Palliative Care Unit at Lakeridge Health Oshawa for the care and compassion shown to Margaret and her family. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Wednesday, February 3rd from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. and at STECKLEY-GOODERHAM FUNERAL HOME, 201 Minet's Point Rd., Barrie, ON (705-721-5842) on Thursday, February 4th from 12:00 p.m. until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Memorial donations will be gratefully accepted for Lakeridge Health Foundation – Cancer Care.
