Passed peacefully at The Waterford Barrie Retirement Residence, Tuesday, July 12, 2021 with his daughters by his side.
William Leonard Dunsmore in his 95th year was the beloved husband of the late Margaret Joyce Cairns of 57 years.
Leonard Dunsmore was a proud farmer and antique tractor competitor. He was known for his strong skilled hands, hard work and kind heart. He admired animals and country drives, especially during harvest time. He loved to tell the stories of past families in the farm community.
Lovingly remembered by four children, Carolyn Brown (Fred), Katherine Leach (Richard), Connie Lombard, and Paul Dunsmore. Cherished Grandpa to Christopher Brown (Brianne), Sarah Osborne (Adam), Lindsay Thatcher (Matt), Jeff and Matthew Halket, Bryanne Leach, Joshua and Emily Lombard and Donovan Dunsmore.
Great Grandpa to Carter, Payton, Cohen, Griffin and Chase Brown, Norah and Declan Osborne, Wyatt and Colton Thatcher, Cleo and Boe Halket and Sawyer Halket.
Survived by his sister Dorothy Strachan of Gravenhurst. Family will be having a Celebration of Life and Graveside Ceremony at a later date to be determined.
