Formerly of Halifax, St. John’s and Kingston, Thelma passed peacefully at Woods Park Care Centre, Barrie on December 31st, 2019 at the age of 88. Predeceased by her husband Jack, as well as her sisters Helen Young (John) and Marion McNeil (Dugger). Loving mother of Paul De Young (Julie), Brad De Young (Terrice Bassler) and Jane Armstrong (the late Carl). Cherished grandmother of Stacey (Ryan), David (Jamilya), Duncan (Sarah), Natasha (Erik), Hannah, Paul (Jaime), Mary and great grandmother of Benjamin and Rémy. Will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Private family arrangements have been entrusted to the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie.
