Born in Delhi, ON and passed away at the age of 87 on July 26th, 2022 at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie. Beloved husband and love of his life Shirley De Wilde (nee Robbins) for 65 years. Predeceased by his parents Rene and Irene De Wilde and sisters Gabrielle (Peter) van Gaalen & Madeline (John) Flontek. He will be forever missed and respected by many nieces and nephews and his business partner and cherished friend Dino Melchior.
Larry was in real estate for over 54 years and was a very proud owner of Royal LePage First Contact Realty for 25 years.
Visitation will be held at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Friday, July 29th, 2022 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. Funeral to be held the following day on Saturday, July 30th, 2022 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel followed by a reception in the lower lounge. A Livestream Link will be made available here. A private family interment at the St. Mary’s cemetery will occur. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Simcoe would be appreciated.
