Camille passed peacefully on Monday, May 2nd, 2022 at Roberta Place in Barrie at the age of 89 years. Camille worked most of his life in the hotel industry but also loved to work with his hands. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Most of all, he was the beloved husband of the late Denise de Caen (2019); the loving father of Stephane, Sophie and Nathalie; and the proud grandfather of Cassandra, Jake, Camille, Cédric and Charlotte. He will be sadly missed by his siblings, nieces, nephews and extended family members.
In keeping with Camille’s wishes, cremation has taken place. His ashes will be interred in Montreal (next to his wife) at a future date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Camille’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and are greatly appreciated by the family.
