DAVIES, Kimberley Jean

Photo Davies, Kimberley

Kim passed peacefully in the early morning of June 10th while in palliative care at the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre in Barrie, Ontario.
Kim was born to Lloyd and Doreen Davies in Barrie, Ontario, where she lived for most of her life, growing her beloved group of family and friends.
She is survived by her son, Stephen Morrison and his wife Jennifer; her grandchildren Spencer, Payton, and Brielle; her sister Leanne; her nieces Sarah and Hannah; and her large group of friends.
A very special thanks to her lifelong friend Marcia, and her son Randy, who were instrumental over the last year of Kim’s life. Thank you also to the wonderful doctors, nurses, and care staff at RVH who cared for Kim throughout her treatments and end of life.
Knowing Kim was always a blessing for she was a kind and giving soul, funny as could be, and loved without bounds. Kim loved nothing more than having a few friends over for a beer, dinner, and a good game of cards.
She was a fierce lover of animals and always had a furry friend in her life, and in heaven she joins her precious schnoodle, Sir Jake, who passed late last year.
Keep her spirit in your hearts by meeting others with compassion, laughing whenever possible, and loving those around you.
Family and close friends will be invited to gather later this year, when restrictions permit, for a celebration of life.
For those who wish to honour her memory, and for those who are able to, the family asks you to donate to the RVH Care Foundation at https://www.rvh.on.ca/    or the Humane Society of Canada at www.humanesociety.com/donate
Words of condolence may be left for the family at www.peacefultransition.ca
