On Friday, April 9th at 6:51pm, our beloved Heather Dalton, aged 29, passed awayat her home in Barrie, surrounded by her friends and family, at her favourite time of day, Golden Hour. She was known to many for her beautiful smile, caring ways and positive outlook on life, even in the toughest of times.

She was always so full of joy, especially while traveling with friends, camping, having bonfires, spending time at the beach, hiking in the forest with Myah, enjoying a big cup of tea while watching the birds, getting immersed in her many books, andenjoying every sunset.Heather was also passionate about her nursing career at Mill Creek Care Centre where she was a nursing supervisor overseeing the care of the residents and working with anoutstanding team.

She was diagnosed with stage 4 cervical cancer and, after a quick battle,Heather has gracefully moved on in exactly the way she wanted. Those who had the honour of meeting the most magnificent woman know she was unlike any other, leaving lasting impressions in our hearts and teaching us how to be the best versions of ourselves.

Throughout this process she knew her soul’s purpose had been completed and that this is just a small chapter to the whole journey. Even though we wish there was more time to be spent with her,we are all so fortunate to have our cherished memories with this beautiful, funny, courageous soul. Shewill always be with us. Thank you, my love, for teaching me and everyone else all that you have.It was an honourto walk by your side. I’ll always be with you, my little one. Yours always and forever, Troy.

Heather is survived by her beloved fiancé Troy Haskins, Myah, her mother Wendy (the late John Dalton), sister Cheryl, brother Cody and nieces Kyla and Delina and aunt Val. She will be greatly missed by Scott, Sue and Tiffany Haskins in addition to her wonderful circle of friends those in which includeSarah, Natalie, Jess, Ashley, Jenna, and Rebecca.

A Celebration of Heather’s life will be announced at a later date. Memorial donations to Mill Creek Care Centre would be appreciated by the family. Messages of condolence may be forwarded to the family through adamsfuneralhome.ca
