Passed peacefully at Grove Park Home, Barrie on Tuesday, June 4th, 2019 at the age of 97.
Loving husband of Ruby for 42 years and predeceased by wife Claire of 28 years. Honoured father of Bonnie Zacour (Bob), Ken Cox (Marlene), Pat Donaldson (late Paul), the late Elizabeth Cox, Denise Benner (the late Colin) and step-father of Dennis Butler (Sheila), the late Steven Butler, the late Wilfred, Catherine Butler, Susan Cousins (David) and Laurie Parris (Larsen). Cherished grandfather of James, Laurie, Matthew, Cristina, the late Heather, Melissa, Jacquiline, Scott, Jonathan, Shirah, Nicole, Damian, Peter, Luke, Michael, James, Sara, Charlie, Adam, Ryan, Vanessa and several great grandchildren.
Ken was a WWII Veteran and retired RAF and RCAF.
Visitation will take place at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St., Barrie on Monday, June 10th, 2019 from 10 a.m. until the time we celebrate Ken’s life in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Following the service, guests are invited to remain for a reception luncheon in the Lounge. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion or Collier St. United Church.
