Thelma will also be fondly remembered by nieces Pat Raulino, Heather McAuley and Kelly and Kyle Whitfield, as well as a great many extended family members and dear friends in the Barrie area and across the country.

Thelma was well loved and admired by all who knew her. As a teacher for over 30 years, 23 of them in Cochrane, ON, she taught multiple generations of the same family. She became an inspiration to many who followed her in teaching. Thelma was a woman of faith, who loved the north, loved being a teacher, loved singing and choral music, loved community service and loved her friends and family, all deeply.
