Cooper, Doris

Peacefully at Creedan Valley Care Centre in her 94th year on Friday, January 8, 2016. Loving wife of the late Irving Cooper and mother of Gwen Cooper. Doris will be sadly missed by her children Lynne (Bill) and Greg (Ruth), her grandchildren John (Lesley), Tara, Dana (Stan) and Adam, and great grandchildren Melody, Holden and Kate, as well as many nieces, nephews, and her cherished friend, Brenda Truax. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the Creedan Valley Care Centre for their extraordinary care and compassion. Guests will be received at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley St, Barrie, on Thursday January 14th, from 10am until the time of the service in the chapel at 11am. A reception luncheon will follow in the lounge. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Grace United Church and would be greatly appreciated by the family.
