CHAPMAN, Susan Elizabeth (Cole)

(April 17, 1952 - July 12, 2017) - Susan Chapman, avid dog lover, garage sale expert, Scrabble player extraordinaire & World's Best Nana passed peacefully after a short illness on July 12th, 2017 surrounded by her family. Throughout her life Sue can be remembered for her love for children, dedicating a number of years volunteering for The Seasons Centre; always putting others first & continually using laughter and positivity as the best approach to all of life's challenges. Beloved wife of Stephen, loving Mother to Joseph, Cory (Kelly), Kimberlee (Adam) and dearest Nana to her seven grandchildren, Tawnya, Morgan, Cole, Ian, Addison, Dylan & Jordyn. Remembered fondly by her sisters, brothers, numerous nieces and nephews as well as many close friends.

Visitation will take place at Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 201 Minet’s Point Rd., Barrie on Monday, July 17th, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm with service taking place on Tuesday, July 18th, 2017 in the chapel of the funeral home starting at 1 pm. Visitation from 12 noon. If desired, donations in Susan's memory can be made to The Season's Centre or Gilda's Club in Barrie and are greatly appreciated.
