It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of a beloved brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend, Ramon Keith Buckland, of Barrie, Ontario, formerly of Kingston, Jamaica, who passed peacefully after a brief illness at the Barrie RVH on April 22, 2023, at the age of 69 with his family around him.
He was predeceased by his parents Keith and Conchita Buckland and his brother, Bruce Buckland.
He will be sadly missed by his sister Zola Sergi (Vincenzo), his nephews Cody, Luca, Matthew (Maria Fernanda), and Antonio and his great nephew Wesley and great niece Emily; and by his many cousins and friends in Canada and Jamaica.
The family would like to thank the staff at Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Southlake Regional Health Centre and Toronto General Hospital for their care and support.
A memorial service will be held at Basic Funeral & Cremation Choices - Jennett Memorial Centre, 152 Bradford Street, on Wednesday May 3, 2023 at 11:00am. A reception will follow.
