BROWN, Kay Leslie

Passed away peacefully at home in Barrie on Saturday, November 25, 2017 in her sixty-fifth year. Kay was known to friends and family for her compassion, creativity, humour, and for her love of animals and nature. She was a person of unshakeable faith, fierce intelligence and strong moral compass, a wise and kind friend to many. She fought cancer unflinchingly for two and half years, and even when tired and hurting was gracious and considerate to everyone she met. Friends will be received at St. Margaret of Scotland Anglican Church (161 Hanmer Street West, Barrie) from 3pm until the time of her funeral eucharist service at 4pm.  Gifts in her memory can be made to either to Ovarian Cancer Canada or to the parish of St. Margaret’s building fund.
