1927 – 2024

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our father Peter, who loved and encouraged his three children, Ben, Katharine and Harry and their spouses, Kathy and Darlene. His last love was Jean Miller who he was happy sharing his life with. He enjoyed his five grandchildren Joe, Paula, Brittany, Carly, Ben, Jessica and Kyle, who would visit him at the farm, plus his six new great grandchildren. He had many dear friends and neighbours, who will miss him dearly.

Peter was an entrepreneur, who started his own business soon after he emigrated to Canada from England. He was an adventurous man who travelled a lot in Australia. His love of nature was evident as he lived in a forest keeping horses, dogs and cats. He was very musical, belonging to the Huronia Harmonizers choir, participating in musicals and playing the harmonica, piano and vibraphone. Dancing and x-country skiing was another of his favourite pastimes, along with cooking. Yes, Peter will be missed by many and has left behind a legacy.

There will be a small church service at Mt St Louis Catholic Church, in Oro-Medonte on February 16th at 1pm.

In lieu of flowers, you are welcome to donate to your charity of choice or to the Salvation Army www.salvationarmy.ca
