Philip George Bell, a man of faith and love for his family, passed on Jan 26, 2024, from complications due to advanced dementia.

He was a remarkable man in many ways, accomplished in most practical trades, a skilled outdoorsman, and had a distinguished sales career which took him to many parts of the world. Phil was often touched by those in special need, finding ways to be of service, and he will be remembered by many for his unconditional acts of love and generosity.

His family is saddened by his death but grateful for his peace. He will be remembered by them for being the father and grandfather he once was, and he has been greatly missed for many years.

Thank you to the wonderful staff at Owen Hill Care Community for taking care of Phil in these last years.

Phil is survived by his daughters Tracy (Paul) and Kerri (Shawn), by his grandchildren Kathryn (Chad), Joshua (Serena), Ben and Grace, and by his great grandchildren Grace, Ellie, Spencer, and London. He is also survived by his siblings Leslie and Lori, and sisters-in-law Ella, Nancy and Jane.

There will be a private service for the family later in the Spring. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada (https://alzheimer.ca/en).

Rest in peace Dad, Poppy, Phil.
