Our loving mother passed peacefully at Roberta Place in Barrie, on December 6th, 2015 at the age of 85. Dear daughter of the late David and Jenny MacDonald. Predeceased by beloved sisters Gwen and Shirley, and brother Byron. Predeceased by Donald Barrett, daughter Nancy, and son Christopher. Sadly missed by sons David and Michael, and daughter Ruth, as well as daughters-in-law Louise, Helen and Lucy. Sybil doted on her grandchildren Robert, Michael, Christina, Jonathan, Sara and Jeremy, and great-grandchildren Owen, Caleb, Mason and Jane. Remembered as a loving aunt to many dear nieces and nephews, and as a cheerful friend to all those who loved her. Visitation will take place at 12:30 at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home, 30 Worsley Street, Barrie on Friday, December 11th, followed by the funeral service at 1:00. Interment will take place in the spring at Brockville Cemetery. The family thanks the staff at Roberta Place. Donations to the Alzheimer's Society are greatly appreciated.
