Our beautiful mother, Jean Baker, left us on Monday, May 2, 2022, at her home in Barrie, surrounded by loved ones. She was 94. While she may have left us physically, her inspiration, spirit of adventure, and joy of living will stay with each and every one of us.
"Mater", as we always called her, leaves behind quite a legacy. Loving mother to Shannon, Kevin and Baron. Well-loved grandmother to Reilly, Chelsea, Madison, Kylan, Haley, Kolby, Taylor, Mallory, Shoshana and Adam. Awe-inspiring great grandmother to Sam, Lila, George, Wolf, Jade, Victor and Silver. Terrific mother-in-law to Herman, Cindy and Linda. Fabulous grandmother-in-law to Luke, Nicole, Louis, Lindi and Vivian. Loyal life-long sister to Eileen. Wonderful aunt to Sharon, Carol, Bob and Barbie. Devoted companion to her partner, Grant.
