Just two months shy of her 90th birthday, Arlene Aunger Fluke (1932-2022) passed away peacefully with family by her side on September 28th, 2022.
Predeceased by her brother Robert Aunger, her parents, William and Mabel Aunger and husband of 30 years, Douglas Fluke. She is survived by her sister Patricia Solmes of Belleville, Ontario; her 3 children, Kathryn Aunger (Aguonie-Fluke), Kevin Fluke and Steven Fluke; her 5 grandchildren, Tabitha Aguonie (Armstrong), Aric Aguonie, Candice Fluke, Kerri Samuel (Fluke), Bailey Fluke; her 9 great-grandchildren, Ashlyn, Aubrie Armtrong, Lea, Josiah, Jada, James, Justus, Ryder; and sons-in-law Ronald Aguonie and Bradley Samuel and Jeff Armstrong.
Visitation will take place at Adams Funeral Home (445 St. Vincent St., Barrie) on Wednesday, October 5th from 2pm-5pm with a service to follow the next day on Thursday, October 6th at 1pm. Following the service, a reception will be held from 2pm-4pm.
Interment will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery (9498 County Road 30, Havelock, ON) on Friday, October 7th at 1pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Northwest Barrie United Church or Canadian Red Cross.
