Passed away peacefully while we held her hands on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Woods Park Care Centre, Barrie. Pat left her earthly home to be reunited with her parents, Eleanor and Thomas Murphy, her brother Clayton, and sisters Margaret (Owen) Baxter and Phyllis Park. A loving, caring mother all her life, she leaves behind her son Michael Arksey (Anne), Daughters Kathy Terry (Dennis), Jackie Longstaffe (Peter), Judy Stewart (Dan) and remembered by John Arksey. Grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews will be missing their Gramma/Aunt Patsy. Adam (Kate) Hurst, Russell (Allison) Arksey, Dave Arksey, Michelle Arksey, Brayden and Bronwen Longstaffe. She was blessed and adored by her 3 Great grandchildren Aidan and Lucy Hurst, Riley Arksey. Our fond memories of happy times we shared with her will live on forever. Many thanks to Dr. McConvey, NP Kim Uppal and the staff at Woods Park Care Centre…. they will miss their Patty Cake! Friends will be received at ADAMS FUNERAL HOME, 445 St. Vincent St. Barrie (just north of Cundles Rd.) on Friday, May 17, 2019 from 11 a.m. until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 12 o’clock. Memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
