Born February 24, 1949, died February 20, 2024.
With her family by her side, we sadly announce the passing of our mom, Kathy. Pre-deceased by the love of her life, Carl, wonderful mom to kids Linda (Jason), Jeff (Caely) and Diane (Jose) and “grammy” to grandchildren Gillian, Miguel and Shayla.
Kathy was one of the 9 Clark kids from Peel St. Greatly loved by her siblings Julie Jones (deceased), Nancy Dupuis (Reg - deceased), Marylou Frankcom (Barry), John Clark (Jane), Martha Spence (Sandy), Paul Clark (deceased), Robert Clark (Mirna Caniczalez), Susie Boyce (Keith) and her best friend, Simone Van Gaal.
Kathy had a zest for life and was the life of any party. She loved music, Coors Light, and was the light of our lives. We will cherish the countless memories we have of her dancing in the kitchen, sitting by the fire at the cottage, and simply chatting with her on the phone.
We miss you so much, but we know you are now with dad. No amount of words will convey the depth of our loss of such a caring, fun woman with a wonderful “spicy” humour, who meant so much to all of us.
She will be missed by extended family and her many friends. Thank you to Dr. Ohson and the nurses at Barrie Royal Victoria Hospital on the Cancer and Palliative floor, for their compassionate care at such a difficult time.
Celebration of life to take place at a future date. If so desired, memorial donations to the local food bank, SPCA or humane society would be appreciated by the family.
