Departed this life on February 8, 2024, at home in her 87th year.
Marlene was born at Orangeville, Ontario on 16 March 1937, daughter of Harold Hamilton and Gladys Foster. Her first home was the Hamilton homestead in Amaranth Township, Dufferin County.
In 1962 Marlene married Donald Anderson of Terra Cotta, Ontario. Marlene is survived by her daughter Caron Langman (Mark) of Barrie, Ontario, and by son Kevin Anderson (Michelle) of Lashburn, Saskatchewan.
Her cherished grandchildren are: Caron’s family: Brooke, Jaclyn (Jonathan), Andrew (Dean), and Kevin’s family: Terry, Jacob (Shaylee), Sarah (Dylan). Her great grandchildren are Karliah, Owen, Emerson and Cayden.
Marlene is also survived by her brothers, Terrence (Kathy), and Barrie (Michelle), and by her sister, Roxanne (Don pre-deceased). Sister-in-law to Ray Anderson (pre-deceased) (Norma), Betty Jean Carberry (Clare) and Dave Anderson (Joyce).
Arrangements by: Basic Funerals and Cremation Choices – Jennett Memorial Centre.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm
Burial will take place in Greenwood Cemetery, Orangeville, Ontario, date will be announced at a later date.
