It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved Joel Robert Aldred on June 17th, 2023.
Adored son of Shelley (Alan) MacNeill and Wayne (Irene) Aldred. Forever loved brother of Jamie-Dawn (Simon) Aldred and Alana MacNeill. Wonderful loving Uncle of James and Ian. Adored grandson of Ian and Donna MacDonald and the late Roy and Barbara Aldred. Beloved nephew of Ian (Coralee) MacDonald, David (Dionne) Peterson and the late James MacDonald, Penny and Tim Aldred. Lovingly remembered by cousins Devin and Amber MacDonald, Joshua, Nick and Dylan Aldred. Forever loved and greatly missed by his partner Renée Mathieu and her daughter Méline, with whom he shared a special friendship with. Joel will be greatly missed by his step brothers Tim and Chris and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A Memorial visitation will take place at Adams Funeral Home (445 St. Vincent St., Barrie) on Sunday, July 16th, 2023 from 12 to 1pm followed by the service at 1pm with a reception to follow.
