It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Don Abbot. Don was the beloved father of Jason Abbot (Simone Abbot) and Sarah Abbot-Manielly (Chris Manielly) and loving Pops to Dex and Clark Manielly. The youngest of three siblings, he will be greatly missed by his brother Bob Abbot (Donalda Abbot) and Dianne Abbot-Bourque (John Bourque).
He is predeceased by his mother and father, Edith and George Abbot.
His family and friends are deeply saddened by his sudden death. Don was a free spirit who lived life on his own terms and fiercely loved those close to him. He cherished family and friendship above all else and will be greatly missed by so many.
A visitation to celebrate Don’s life will be held on Saturday January 22nd, 2022, from 1pm – 4pm at Adam’s Funeral Home located at 445 St. Vincent Street in Barrie, where we hope to share many wonderful memories of his well-lived and much-loved life.
