The Barrie Colts U12 'BB' team won gold at the inaugural Oakville Bardown Winter Classic Tourney on the weekend.
Team officials say the Colts showed a never-give-up resilient attitude throughout the tournament while battling some of the top teams in Ontario.
After going 4-0 with two shutouts in the round-robin portion, the local boys put together an almost-perfect game in the championship to defeat their division rivals, the Newmarket Renegades, by a score of 4-0.
The team includes Landon Maisonneuve, Will Mutrie, Owen Poliziani, Colton Archer, Teagan Tiffin-Seminara, A.J. Luczyk, Jack Hussey, Nolan McColl, Ben Sudsbury, Callum Roach, Jonathan Tallarigo, Logan Munshaw, Colton Proc, Eli Hardy-Plummer, Jack Whipp, Cooper Suggit, and Blake Barter.
