BARRIE BAYCATS

The Barrie Baycats and F45 Training Barrie South West (located at 556 Bryne Dr., Unit 5-6, Barrie) will come together on Friday, April 14, 2023, to raise funds to support the Baycats Send a Kid to Camp program that supports eight local charities.
Mitch Scott, owner of F45 Training Barrie South West, is thrilled to open the doors to the Barrie Baycats players and local celebrities to help the Baycats’ Send a Kid to Camp campaign. Non-members can join a class for a donation to the Send a Kid to Camp campaign.
Five classes of F45 are being offered on Friday, April 14, 2023. The class times are 6 a.m., 7 a.m., 8 a.m., 12 p.m. and 5 p.m. Members of the Baycats, youth ambassadors and community champions will be putting in the work for our youth. There is room for 30 people per class, and we welcome you to join this campaign. Register here to reserve your spot and send a kid to camp this summer. Let’s knock this out of the park.
“I think it’s vital for the community to rally around these fundraisers. It supports a great cause and gives kids an opportunity they may not get otherwise. The Baycats are grateful for all the community support we have had over the years and feel it’s great to see the local businesses and residents eager to do their part in giving back,” states Josh Matlow, president of the Barrie Baycats.
Mitch Scott, owner of F45 Training Barrie South West, says, “Growing up in the area, I was lucky enough to play on multiple sports teams, which I will always treasure. From the friendships and new skills learned to the tough times and rewarding victories, so much comes from being a kid in sports. Unfortunately (especially in today’s environment), not every kid will get this chance, and when we opened F45 Barrie South West, I promised to help with that in any way I could. This Friday is one of those ways, as we are partnering with the Barrie Baycats to raise money and help send kids to sports camp. We can’t wait.”
