Colts getting national audience this weekend

Barrie's home game against the Ottawa 67's on Saturday will be broadcast on CBC; Game time moved up to 3 p.m.

Oskar Olausson and the Barrie Colts will take on the Ottawa 67's this weekend in a nationally televised game on CBC.

The Barrie Colts will get eyeballs from coast to coast to coast this weekend when they take on the Ottawa 67's at Sadlon Arena in Ontario Hockey League action.

Saturday's home game will be shown nationally on CBC television. Due to the national broadcast, however, game time has been changed to 3 p.m.

The Colts sit in second place in the Eastern Conference's Central Division with a 2-2-1 record after five games. Barrie's offence is led by Swedish newcomer Oskar Olausson, a first-round pick of the Colorado Avalanche, with four goals and two assists in five games since joining the Colts. 

Meanwhile, the 67's are in third place in the conference's East Division with a 3-2 record. Calgary Flames prospect Jack Beck has five goals and three helpers in five games. Three of his goals have been game winners.
