Baycats hosting exhibition game Saturday to help food bank

The Barrie Baycats are hosting an exhibition game coming up at Vintage Throne Stadium on Saturday. 

Baseball fans are invited to see the local Intercounty Baseball League team take on the Greater Toronto Baseball League's Thornhill Reds at the Barrie Community Sports Complex in Midhurst. 

The game it scheduled to begin at 4 p.m., with gates opening at 3 p.m.

Entry to this game is free with the donation of a non-perishable food item to the Barrie Food Bank. Otherwise, admission to the game is $2, with that money also going to the local food bank.

The Thornhill Reds senior men’s baseball team is one of the top squads in the province each year. 

Saturday's game will be available live on Baycats TV, with additional bonus features including special guests during the broadcast and the debut of the Roll Cats pregame show.
