NEWS RELEASE
BARRIE WRESTLING
*************************
The city’s family-friendly live pro wrestling company will crown a brand-new heavyweight champion Saturday.
Barrie Wrestling returns to 49 Ferris Lane on Saturday, June 10 for Gold and Glory 6, our annual event as we head into a busy summer festival schedule.
Doors open at 4:30 p.m. and bell time is 5 p.m. Domino’s pizza and hot dogs will be available for purchase.
Having run family-friendly professional wrestling events monthly at that location since 2014, Barrie Wrestling has also branched out to having shows for the Downtown Barrie BIA and will bring Canada Day Clash 5 to Meridian Place on June 30, July 1 and July 2.
Barrie Wrestling will also be a part of the Kempenfest festival, with details to come about that.
Tomorrow’s event has seven matches including the Women’s Championship defended, the Three Pistols Championship defended, a triple-threat bout and the debut of an eastern U.S. champion.
The main event will see the recently vacated Barrie Wrestling Championship up for grabs in a Fatal Four Way match between Jessie V, John Atlas, Alexcia Nicole and Tarik.
Front-row seats have been gone for a month, but second-row reserved seats are available for $25 by contacting Barrie Wrestling on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and email at [email protected].
General admission tickets can be purchased at OMG Games, Doug Laurie Sports and Auctions or by contacting Barrie Wrestling.
