The Barrie Colts U16 AAA team is back up to No. 2 on this week's OHL Cup rankings after winning back-to-back contests over the weekend.

The Colts defeated the Central Ontario Wolves, 6-1, before blanking the York-Simcoe Express, 5-0.

The Toronto Marlboros drop one spot to No. 3 following a 5-3 loss to the top-ranked Vaughan Kings in GTHL regular season play on Sunday.

Ottawa Myers Automotive also climbed one spot to No. 8 on the list, leap-frogging the Upper Canada Cyclones, who they defeated 4-3 on Saturday.

The 2024 OHL Cup will feature 20 teams consisting of U16 AAA talent eligible for the 2024 OHL Priority Selection. Starting with three wild-card play-in match-ups on March 25, all games will be played at the Scotiabank Pond in Toronto until the championship final moves to the Mattamy Athletic Centre on March 30.

The weekly rankings are determined by a panel of OHL Central Scouting staff and represent the top teams that are competing to play in the annual year-end championship tournament.
